One of the great new features that was introduced with the iPhone 5S was TouchID that has now made it to the iPad devices. This built-in fingerprint scanner promised to bring about a new level of security for your mobile phone. Fingerprint scanners are not new in the computer world but they still are quite uncommon. Passwords and passcodes are still the primary method of security for users online or with their devices and this isn’t going to change anytime so. Why is this the case when biometrics are a big push in security right now?
